Note: From now until April 15, registration is limited to members of the clubs that are sponsoring and hosting the course, the AOSA and the EYC. After April 15, registration will be open to any person who is interested.

Once the course is full up to its capacity of 12 people, individuals who are still interested will have the option to put their names on a waiting list.

If participants cancel out of the course, people on the waiting list will be contacted and given the option to register.

Registration

Step 1: Figure out which module(s) you want to take: Navigator Module only, or both modules together.

Step 2:  For the Navigator Module, decide whether you prefer Saturday or Sunday.

Step 3:  Download the course brochure PDF file by clicking here.

If you click on the link and nothing happens, please ensure that you have installed a PDF file reader like Adobe Acrobat Reader, and that you are using some web browser other than Safari for Windows.

Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer all are capable of downloading/displaying this PDF file.

Step 4:  Print out the brochure.

If you have a duplex printer, and find that this PDF file prints out with one of the sides upside down, then try downloading this one. It intentionally inverts the front side of this double sided brochure...which could lead to it printing OK on your printer.

If you have a single sided printer, don't worry about it. Just clip out both panels that contain information about you, tape them or staple them together, and include them in the envelope with your check.

Step 5:  Fill in the registration information, then cut out the registration panel from the form.

Step 6:  Write out your check to the Alberta Offshore Sailing Association.

Step 7:  Include the check, plus the registration panel you filled out on the course brochure, in an envelope addressed to:

     Ronald Van Amsterdam
    AOSA Treasurer
    Box 30003 RPO South Park
    Stony Plain AB T7Z 2Y8

If your preferred day for the Navigator Module is already full, we will contact you and give you the option to flip to the other day (e.g. if Saturday is full, but Sunday is not, we will contact you and see what your preference is).

If the only day you are free to come is full (or if all 12 slots for the course fill), we will return your check to you and give you the option of going onto a waiting list.  People on the waiting list will be phoned or emailed if there are cancellations, and given the option of re-registering for the course.
